Pastor Ellen Ravelin. Pastor Ellen is a native of Winooski. Her grandfather helped rebuild the church in 1918.

In 2020, we are undertaking a Capital Campaign that is aimed at restoring and preserving our church, which is listed on the US Registrar of Historic Places.  We are also in the process of having the church named by Vermont Division of Historic Preservation as a stop on the African American Heritage Trail because of the important role that the Buffalo Soldiers played in its rebuilding in 1918.

The following quotes were made in late Fall of 2019.  We are only looking for minimal repairs and upgrades, to preserve the integrity of the structure and make it functional for our and the public's use.

Join Us In Song

Every Sunday, we praise the Lord in song accompanied by our beloved organist Rennay Maker.  Raised Methodist, Rennay's 3rd great grandfather was Archelaus Maker, a circuit rider pastor. Prior to coming to Winooski, Rennay served in the Air Force.  She has played the organ at our church for 28 years.
